Digital submission workflows work great for content that has already been digitized. However, physical media is still used to store and transfer high quality content. Origin Digital provides an end-to-end submission service that includes the ability to handle media, both standard and high definition content, on tape, CD/DVD, and portable hard drives. To remain transparent to your customers, Origin Digital can also accept shipments under your company name.

Upon receipt of the content, a small portion is fully ingested and encoded based on the customer output requirements (up to 30 minutes). The custom acceptance clip will be made available to the customer either by FTP, or HTTP download. Once customer acceptance has been received, the job will be processed. Video files are spot checked for quality and file integrity prior to delivery back to the customer. Full content QA services are available.

Our transformation service includes the following capabilities:

• Ingestion - Capture and digitization of video from a physical source such as SD/HD Tape or DVD. Digital video files that have already been digitized can be received via FTP, data DVD, or portable hard drive
• Production - Any preparation of video prior to encoding, such as removing slates, de-interlacing, or mark in, mark out editing
• Encoding - Creation of the output format files (i.e. WMV, FLV) from the clean input version
• Final Delivery - Upon completion of the job, the finished products are delivered back to the customer via FTP, portable hard drive, or ingested into Odaptor CMS
