The Solution
Origin Digital's Odaptor service provides the platform for instantly adding user generated content (UGC) submission and moderation capabilities into any web site or Internet based brand campaign. Through customizable web forms, users submit content and metadata via their Internet browser. Our upload manager displays a progress bar for the transfer and provides an ETA for completion of the transfer. This easy to use process works in all browsers and does not require a software download or browser plug-in. Once the content is transferred successfully, it is placed in the review and approval queue.
Review and Approval
Once content is received via the upload form, it is held for review by users with the appropriate permissions. Upon receipt of new content, an email notification will be sent. All actions are tracked within the content history and can be viewed and either approved or rejected. Origin Digital can provide 3rd party moderation services to assist with customers looking to outsource this activity or are expecting a large number of submissions. If approved, the content will automatically be transcoded to the specified output formats and instantly published to the customer's website.
Instant Publishing
Content submitted to the Odaptor service will be automatically transcoded, delivered, and published to your website. Encoding profiles are defined within the user interface and allow you to specify any number of outputs (video, audio, and thumbnails). With minimal set up, your website can automatically publish the video, audio, and images created by Odaptor.

Event Recording
